Guided toursAntwerp by Bike
offers you three theme tours.
All guided tours have the same concept.
We cycle about 20 kilometer in 3 hours,
which means that we have many short stops along the way to give some
explanation about what you see (and what you do not see). We take a
short break halfway for a refreshment. Our tours are
anything but boring: we do not hit you over the head with dates and
building styles which you forget after 3 seconds, but bring you small
and great stories about Antwerp.
We cycle in and around Antwerp, but
focus mainly on the outskirts of Antwerp. We have good reasons for this:
first, the historic centre is difficult to bike (and much better to do
on foot), and secondly we want to show you hidden gems in Antwerp (which
may even surprise the locals) !

Blue
tour:
The Scheldt
You probably would never have heard of Antwerp if it had no
river. In the sixteenth century, Antwerp was one of the major
trade centres because of the Scheldt. Later on, things went in the
wrong direction, but the bad times did not stop Antwerp from
growing, on the contrary. From
the heart of Antwerp, we reach the South, invariably called "the
trendy south". Through the Antwerp version of Beverly Hills,
we dive under the
Scheldt to the Left Bank (Linkeroever) and then follow the
Scheldt. This theme tour shows how districts can move quickly
from very trendy to run-down and all the way back.

Green tour:
Gems in the Green Outskirts
Is Antwerp a green city? That's probably not how it is
usually seen. And yet Antwerp has many green gems. We take you
along the Scheldt to the new Park Spoor Noord and through the
classical Rivierenhof we reach the other side of Antwerp. We
take a small break with drinks in the Art-Nouveau district
Zurenborg and with renewed strength we pass through Antwerp
until we get back where we started.

Golden tour:
Highlights in Antwerp
[NEW!]
On this tour, we show
you all the highlights of Antwerp, like the cathedral, the
Butterfly Palace and the MAS museum. Along the way, we’ll
discover hidden gems as well. This tour is the ideal way to
evoke the glorious memories of the past and to fast-forward to
the bustling Antwerp of today.
