Frequently Asked QuestionsIs the bike tour by bike?
Surprisingly, yes. You can bring your
own bike, but that's not
necessary. For an additional 8 euro, you can rent a strong and well maintained bike.
How can your bike tours be so cheap?
Compared to say Barcelona (22€), Berlin (20€) or Prague (22€), our
guided bike tours are well underpriced. We started Antwerp by Bike this
summer and our first goal is to guide you around, not to make profit. If
you hesitate between taking the tour this year or next year, take it now,
because our Sales Manager is pushing to increase the prices. But we try
to resist!
Do we stop for a drink?
Yes, but you have to pay yourself (see previous question). And yes,
you can also use the bath room (for free).
Guide, is it still far?
The guided bike tour is around 20 kilometres, but we stop a lot to tell you
something about what you see (or what you don't see). The tour takes 3
hours in total (stops and drink included).
What do I need to bike?
Technically: two legs. But some cash, a
camera, sun glasses, a bike pump and a
rain coat can be handy too.
Can I book a tour every day?
Unfortunately, no. Since we all have
propper jobs outside these
guiding tours, we only offer tours on Saturday and Sunday. For groups,
tours on week days are possible on demand.
Do we get a diamond afterwards?
Sure, if you pay an additional 1250€. Anyway, after the tour you
will have discovered a lot of Antwerp's hidden gems.
Can I give an Antwerp by Bike
tour to someone else?
You want to score with your in-laws? You want to spoil your love, your
grandparents or your nieces and nephews? You are tired of typical
vouchers under the Christmas tree? Then you've come to the right place
for an original gift. You can book a voucher that can be used for any bike tour. Just send an email to info@antwerpbybike.be!
